Hannah Levy is a visual artist from London, but works and lives in New York City. Her work focuses on the body, as well as facade and perception. Levy is interested in breaking down the human form and creating works that exist between the physical and abstract representations of the body. She has explored the relationship and conflict between bodies as a concept, not specifically the human body.
Levy primarily works with acrylic, watercolours, oil pastels, and graphite, and often experiment with her substrate, using recycled paper, dura-lar, collage, glass, and other surfaces, as well as film. She has recently been experimenting with projection in the development of her work.
